Valentine's Day is over and Mother's Day has crept slowly up in it's place giving you another occasion to buy for in the very near future. I've put together a list of some of my favourite goodies to make sure your Mum feels loved and special this year.
I don't want to scare anyone like me that hasn't yet organised anything for Valentine's Day, but it's um, only 11 days away! That's the bad news. The good news is that my gift guide is BACK! Read on for my top ideas of perfect gifts that will make sure you're in the good books.
Everyone says to cherish the time your children are small because it goes so quickly. My question though, is how on earth do we remember the million magical moments that make up that time? It's a worry. I want to remember everything, for me to cherish once they're grown but also so that I can recount it to them. Here are my ideas to capture those memories forever.
Over the last week or so, I've come across a few ideas of things to do which will be magical for the children and I thought I should share them. They also happen to be either free, or low cost. Bonus!

You’d think that having a baby and a toddler, I’d find this one really easy to write. Wrong. The thing is, there’s little point in me writing a piece aimed at parents of children, I think most parents know their little ones well enough to know what they’re going to love. As the sun set on our (for once) gorgeous summer, my thoughts turned quickly to Christmas. Front of mind for me this year is not ‘what will I get everyone?’ or even ‘what will I cook?’ (although these are right up there, as usual), but ‘how can I make Christmas special for our children? What traditions can we start now, while they’re young and that we can repeat, year after year and that they will tell their children about?’ In short, what does our Baker family Christmas look like?
