What could be more romantic than a Christmas wedding? It's officially party season, bubbles are in the air and so is festive cheer. We've carefully chosen ten glittering ideas for an indulgently golden, festive day.
1. Glittery gold colour palette
There are so many options with a gold colour palette, team it with another colour for an extra dimension perhaps. With black it could make for a black tie, super chic feel (especially perfect for a Christmas/New Year wedding); and with white it's super festive. Image by The Perfect Palette
2. Glistening and glamorous stationery
With Christmas being such a busy time of year, it's a good idea to get your invites out early to avoid date clashes, or even better, send dave the dates. These gorgeous invitations are printed on a glittery super gold premium card that will really get your guests feeling festive and give a little hint towards the day you have in store for them. Printed double sided, there's room for all of your information and even a cut off RSVP card!
Co-ordinate on the day with gorgeous gold table stationery. View the complete collection (including save the date cards) here.
3. A golden gown
A gold wedding dress may be taking the theme a little too far for many, but goodness how beautiful is this show stopper? This stunning, beaded embellished golden gown is from Deja-vi Bridal. You can see more images of this dress and the wedding itself here. Photography by Paula O'Hara.
4. Gold and glam bridesmaid dresses
If a golden wedding gown is not your thing, you could tie in glitzy gold with your bridesmaids instead. These champagne gold sequinned dresses are currently available from Quiz at just £69.99! Photography Copyright (c) 2015, Ruth Atkinson.
5. Festive flowers
This stunning wedding bouquet is bound with gold ribbon and features roses, berries and mistletoe for the ultimate in Christmas chic! Photography by Nadia D Photography.
6. Wedding bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way..
Forget the horse and cart or vintage car, what better way to arrive at your Christmas wedding than by sleigh? Or simply book them to spend time at the reception for photo opportunities and guest entertainment. A Google search will find your nearest hire centre. Image sourced from Animal Enterprises.
7. A festive feast
What better way to greet your guests at your reception than with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie? It'll be sure to warm them up and get the party started!
8. A different kind of Christmas cake!
Christmas wedding cake, that is.. This simple 3 tier design has been transformed by the gold sprayed leaves into a cracker of a cake, something your chosen cake maker should be able to easily recreate. Image sourced here.
9. Christmas styled centrepieces
The options for your venue and table decorations for your Christmas wedding are just endless! Bauble and pine cone mini trees are readily available and will give an extra festive sparkle to your dining room, while wrapping pillar candles in cinnamon sticks will not only look gorgeous but also smell divine!
10. Festive favours
Finally, for a truly personal wedding favour that will keep the memory of your big day alive for your guests, these personalised laser cut acrylic tree decorations are a fab idea. Choose from 4 designs and 4 different colours, £3.95 each from Urban Twist.

I always think buying gifts for Mother's Day is harder than for a birthday; there's a little more sentiment behind it. The months and years seem to roll around so quickly these days and each year seems to get a bit harder!
I've actually started a kind of present diary now, I make a note of what I get people (mainly family) so that I can refer back to it; I can also make notes of gift ideas I think of throughout the year. It helps avoid repeating presents too!
With Mothers Day just around the corner, I've put together a list of my favourite gifts for Grandma (or Nanny, Nana, Granny, whichever name you use!).

I don't know about you, but I always feel like a Valentine's gift has to hit the right tone. Somewhere there has to be some kind of meaning or romance to make it worthy of being presented on the day of love!
Well, I've spent hours exploring ideas to fit the bill (and the budget) and assembled my ten favourites here.
