Thanks to the likes of of Moonpig and notonthehighstreet, getting any greetings card these days presents us with a generous choice to say the least. Whether you're short on time or just weary from looking, the search ends here.
I've handpicked 5 of my favourite Valentine's cards for him, for 2018. You won't find anything overly mushy, it's just not my style! Quirky, funny or stylishly simple is more my thing.
In no particular order!
1. Love Sitting Mute with You
Whatever she touches, Katie Kirby (aka Hurrah for Gin) is just spot on! How true is this? Makes me smirk each time I read it.. Get the 'I Love Sitting Mute with You on the Sofa' card here.
2. Super Lover
Love the simple design of this one; having to calculate the number of days you've been together does show some care and thought, without making you want to heave! Get this Super Lover card here.
3. Will you be my Valentine?
Falling into the 'stylishly simple' category, this one should appeal to those seeking a more traditional message for their card this year. DesignsByKateB have a beautiful collection of V Day cards in this style, with messages for boyfriend, fiancé and husband too. View the range in the Etsy shop here.
4. More than Gin
There had to be one gin related card didn't there?! There are loads of them around this year again, I do like the design of this one though. Get it here.
5. Mr Perfect
Finishing off with one of my favourites, probably because there is a lot of Mr Men and Little Miss in our house right now! Add your own photo and the name of your man to complete the personalisation on this one. Get it here.
That's it! I'd love to hear your favourite Valentine's Day messages, do share them (or other card ideas) in the comments below. Oh and get yourself ahead of the game, order your card now!

See you there!
I always think buying gifts for Mother's Day is harder than for a birthday; there's a little more sentiment behind it. The months and years seem to roll around so quickly these days and each year seems to get a bit harder!
I've actually started a kind of present diary now, I make a note of what I get people (mainly family) so that I can refer back to it; I can also make notes of gift ideas I think of throughout the year. It helps avoid repeating presents too!
With Mothers Day just around the corner, I've put together a list of my favourite gifts for Grandma (or Nanny, Nana, Granny, whichever name you use!).
From doughnut walls to abstract masterpieces, wedding cake trends continue to evolve, but what will be big in 2018?
I've got the low-down together with some gorgeous examples to get those creative juices flowing!
I don't know about you, but I always feel like a Valentine's gift has to hit the right tone. Somewhere there has to be some kind of meaning or romance to make it worthy of being presented on the day of love!
Well, I've spent hours exploring ideas to fit the bill (and the budget) and assembled my ten favourites here.
